The R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2016 by Dr. Prem Prakash Yadav as “R.K. Ayurvedic Hospital” governed by “ Society of Krishak Mahavidyalay Samiti .”
R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is established to enrich the research in the field of our ancient traditional medicine and its utility but after the certain time Management committee decided to open an Ayurvedic College named as “R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital at Kashipur, Surai, Sathiaon, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Pin- 276001”
The main objective of the Society is to promote the health awareness and care by Ayurvedic System of Medicine, because of its availability, applicability and its acceptance in our local area along with increasing demand worldwide.
I am delighted as a chairman of R.K. Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kashipur Surai, Sathiaon, Azamgarh for successfully completion of B.A.M.S., D. Pharma, B. Pharma, M. Pharma. The importance of Education can never be over emphasized with the fast development of specially Ayurveda is unique amongst the healthcare disciplines in the World as it places an emphasis on removing the causes of disease and suffering. Ayurveda teaches that suffering begins when a person forgets that they are one part of an interconnected whole.

For teaching and training of the students, in the herbal garden of R.K Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, cultivation and scientific research on the medicinal plants is carried out. The rare and endangered plants are cultivated in the garden for the purpose of research and medicinal use. At present more than 500 of medicinal plants are available in the garden.
